I will be using the original. Have done it before and it works fine
On a non-standard engine I'd probably go for using a jenvey rail and using the injector holes in the TBs.
You CAN run an 8 injector setup if your ECU will control it, Staged to run the injectors in the head at lower rpm, and...
I think we advised this as having a broken TPS about a year ago. The jenvey TPS is notoriosly not very durable, and once they start to cause electical noise you get accelleration fuelling when you're just idling, hence running rich
couple of places make them for the F4R. Sodemo I believe, and at least one other
You're talking about professional motorsport grade parts though, basically you'll double the cost of an engine build just by fitting solid lifters and billet rockers, and for a very small gain.
dont need to undo any torx to remove the bumper. The archliner comes out with the bumper, just pop the 2 large trim clips and the inspection flap on each side
they do quote for it, but the wrong one turns up, every time. I had one wrongly supplied that I sold on to Foxy recently.
They'll give you this one
New shaft FTW
the end of the shaft is peened over to retain the spider. Probably have to carefully grind the peened part. DON'T get it hot or you'll weaken the hardened splines of the shaft.
The boot on some shafts (mine for sure) is a sealed unit, and not available from renault, new shaft only
Aux belt is very very easy on a cup. 15 minutes work. Cambelt is also pretty easy, don't think anyone is over 300 now. I do them for around 250 depending distance I need to travel
You'll need 1/4 drive e-torx sockets as larger won't fit in the holes at box end.
No sealer needed. Probably 3 to 4 hours, bit awkward but not too nasty
Re: iPhone 4G (No longer rumours)
I'm making that a bit of a maths fail on your part TBH
18 x £40 (do people REALLY pay this???) = £720
£540 + (£17.50 x 18) = £850
So you're paying more overall AND paying a big lump up front
And just for reference on my HTC I pay £31 a month on...
not quite what happens
The tensioner is leavered up under spring tension to fit the belt. The pivot rusts and stops the tensioner moving freely, so when you release it, it doesn't move sufficiantly to tension the belt
yes, just need to identify the wire from the stock ecu that fires the relay, and swap it for the fan control wire from the Omex IIRC. Some cars you have to change the polarity of the relay, but pretty sure the clio is strightforward
have you kept the stock ECU and stock temp sensor?
Pretty easy to wire in control from the omex, only a single wire to a relay, then just setup on and off temps
