for the money a ph1 172 is hard to beat imo. williams for 1600 ish is going to be pretty rotten, and they arent as quick out the box either, iv had a williams and now have a ph1 172. dont get me wrong i loved my williams but you need to buy a good one and they cost £££££ where as a ph1 can...
no problem mate. iv got a ph1 as well, i put a k&n in my airbox, but im tempted with a second hand maxogen for the noise. hopefully soon. i have ktec supersport stealth exhaust, new cup shocks and eibach sportlines, matched inlets. would like to get a rs tuner or take a trip to leeds to...
judging by the lack of responses im guessing no. people are struggling to insure crappy cars for thousands of pounds, so coming on here bragging about driving daddys x5 at 17 isnt going to get much response apart from the obvious. now please f*ck off
I also point you in the direction of Freds comments about the mount being too stiff.
what is it with this place and fred being god? just because your too tight to buy one why piss on other peoples parade?
ok, removed the changer from my standard fit ph1 172 to put in a new disc yesterday, then it came up on the display error disc 4, so i pushed the button to remove the changer again and i can hear it making the noise to eject it but it doesnt come out, its stuck, and it wont play any of the...
would save for the rs2. just fitted matched inlets cant say i can notice any difference. got a good deal on them so was rude not to. however i shall be saving for the rs2.
Re: Prima racing uprated exhaurst mount
had mine fitted on friday along with my new ktec cat back supersport stealth, great bit of kit, totally solid, no worries about sagging, stealth exhaust hidden away perfectly.
i just got a ktec stealth supersport fitted today on my car, my god it drones like f**k in the car on the motorway, not good. was hoping it would sound a bit raspier as well but it doesnt. not very impressed if im honest. still it fits spot on and is a proper stealth thanks to the prima...
never really done it for me. mate had a mk1 elise, took me out in it, cramped, basic as hell, rattled like f**k, and wasnt very quick, his was the standard job though, the 111s etc faster. supercharged exige must be realy quick though.
a williams is as easy to live with as a 172/182, its comfortable, handles superbly and has loads of grunt/torque. its just finding a nice one now, nearly all have rotten rear arches or are starting to go, i seriously considered getting one again when i was looking but couldnt find one nice...
yeah i had it lowered, spring snapped on the front and couldnt get standard springs for the mot so ended up upgrading and lowering it. looked great but probably not the best for bumpy b roads.
yeah i found those pics on williamsclio when i was looking to see how the new owner was getting on with her. was gutted to say the least. loved that car, was so well looked after, i can only assume he was driving far to fast to end up in the ditch. such a shame.
totally original, never seen paint, arches etc had all been waxoiled and were spotless, was owned previously by a rich guy from london who kept it stored under a custom made cover which i got included in the sale. was a one off, gutted i sold it, even more gutted that it was written off. guy...
cost me 5700 about 6 years ago, fantastic car, was in showroom condition, had a hillpower stage 1 conversion and a magnex decatted system, sounded immense. sold it to buy my first impreza turbo, the new owner travelled up from london to edinburgh to buy it, then wrote it off. regret selling...
