my ph1 has a itg maxogen, ktec supersport cat back, matched inlets, would a rs tuner map make any difference? do they have a map for the above mods? cheers.
i was told not to bother decatting it, apparently the ph1 cat is free flowing anyway, so pointless fitting a decat, ur not going to see any gains. spend your money on matched inlets instead, the ph1 casts are rubbish so you will see more gains with inlets.
had to replace mine few weeks ago, iirc cost about £125 plus vat for the rad, renault specialist garage ordered it in for me and fitted it. paid cash got a few quid off cost me £200 fitted
be shrewd with ur cash, find parts cheap on here and ebay etc.

pmsl. im going to try again tonight after work, ran out of light yesterday couldnt see what the hell i was doing, all i could see was blood. i emailed itg about my issue, got an email back from their technical guru, apparently the kit wasnt designed for a ph1, he wasnt aware it even fitted...
£4500, wtf?? TDF throttle body kit is £2500 fitted for a ph1 172. £800 more than the normal fitted price of jms inlet. ill save up the extra £800 and have serious gains and proper noise thanks.
the tube that comes off the airbox to throttle body pipe, a thinner breather pipe that goes behind the coilpack yes. what a mare i had trying to get it on, hands are shredded.
anyone had any problems when fitting a maxogen with the breather pipe on the silicon bend not fitting onto the bit it goes onto behind the throttle body?? was trying to fit mine last night and for the life of me coudnt get it to fit!!! on inspection the diameter of the itg pipe is smaller than...
sourced a maxogen kit for my ph1, my question is does the ph1 172 have the acoustic valve just like the ph2 under the passenger wheel arch? i read somewhere the ph1 doesnt have one so obviously i wouldnt have to remove it. thanks. going to remove the cold air feeds anyway as they are taking up...
