You have no experience of a full comfort equiped ITB car though, so you have no point of reference. It's LUSH having everything nice and having a lump more power on top.
I should just point out that from looking at his pictures, that WASN'T the de-phaser pulley, it was the exhaust cam pulley and the harmonic damper part of it broke down
bit of a touchy subject. It's been done many times, but i'd never do it on something I hadn't done the belt on myself very recently. Officially you shouldn't re-tension a cambelt. As all your stuff is very new I'd probably put a new belt on without new tensioners.
