if you're re-boring you'll have to remove them, and you're unlikely to get them out un-damaged so new ones is a good idea. Downgrading to no squirters is a silly idea, and yes i've heard all the theories about better oil pressure etc. if you want more pressure, upgrade the pressure relief spring

You have no experience of a full comfort equiped ITB car though, so you have no point of reference. It's LUSH having everything nice and having a lump more power on top.

I've done top end rebuilds on a few belt snappages. Engine needs a bit of inspection to make a decission really.

I should just point out that from looking at his pictures, that WASN'T the de-phaser pulley, it was the exhaust cam pulley and the harmonic damper part of it broke down

who? There's no many good off the shelf systems for clios, custom stuff is almost un-necessary, and unless it's prospeed it's normally poor.

get hold of a F7P/R turbo manifold, it'll save you a lot of grief

dont know what RStuner tells you. Fault codes can only tell you when there's a fault on a particular circuit.

never used the RStuner. I have Snap-On diagnostics :)

needs to go on diagnostics really, but there's a whole string of issues with those engines

keep VVT unless you're doing a specific top end power/track focussed build.

bit of a touchy subject. It's been done many times, but i'd never do it on something I hadn't done the belt on myself very recently. Officially you shouldn't re-tension a cambelt. As all your stuff is very new I'd probably put a new belt on without new tensioners.
