    Are 182 brakes naturally rear-biased?

    Winding them down..

That's definitely nose down already. look at the angle of the sill. Remember the front arches are bigger because of the wheels having to turn ;) A good example, I fitted bilsteins to a ph1, then checked the toe. it was toeing out a lot and the steering was far too light, with no feeling with a...

Common fault on 172/182 - suspension

that's what we do too. No need for washers, which i've seen cause a strut to be very loose

    172 or Nissan 200

    CV Gaitor

couple of options. You can get a "split" CV boot, which you have to glue together. They can be fitted with no shaft removal. The best option is to remove the shaft from the car, dismantle the joint, and fit a new boot, then re-assemble

    Skimming head

10.5:1 IIRC (might be 10.9:1, I can't find the CD, so that's from memory) definitely not as high as 11.5

    aux tensioner spring

only conflict i've seen is 3 or 5 years for the aux. Still always 36k. It's 72k on the 197 though.

    Fuel Return

very late ph1s (and it's a very rare thing) and all after that have no return line, and regulator in the tank. Most ph1s have the return on the regulator end of the fuel rail

    172 or Nissan 200

I'm on my 3rd s13 now. Great fun but definitely an enthusiasts car that you need spannering skills yourself to own. Not such a fan of the s14/a but they have their benefits. The s14 has 1 cat, the s14a has 2. the s13 can legally run no cat as there's never been any emissions figures given...

    Supercharged 172 Speedo Vid

original clutch and box, so fully expecting the clutch to need replacing pretty soon. The power delivery, as said is extremely smooth so it's quite kind to the box in relative terms.

Replacing the rocker gasket cover without a torque wrench?

agree with Fred on this one, it's not torque critical. I'd use JUST sealer without the gasket on an F7. The paper gaskets move and leak
