    Dell c400 256Mb ram and P3. had it 3 years now, and it was secondhand then. it's never even been near a case and gets shoved under the carseat when i go anywhere. Simple and tiny, I'm making maximum effort to upgrade the internals so i dont have to change it

    no.4 is awkward because of the oil pump, but you just need to get the crank to the right place and you can get to everything. No.1 I can't see anything would cause any difficulty??

    you CAN get to the big ends by just removing the sump, I've done it 3 times

    my old flat-mate/good friend has the 406 executive with the 2.0 8v turbo in it. truly brilliant car. can't imagine the heater matrix being too bad to do (in relative terms, it's still a heater matrix)

    if it's misaligned the gearbox wont go on. juddering at bite point is often flywheel related, ie the surface wasn't prepped

    FYI that part isn't fitted as standard, but it comes in all clutch kits. Makes clutch allignment massively easier :)

    Fred's right, the FBW throttle body has a different bolt pattern to cable throttle. also the PH2 doesn't have a hole for the idle control valve

    major issues with USB to coms converters, there's loads that wont communicate with ECUs. Omex sell one that works I believe. Andy Uses a PCMCIA adapter with dual coms and it's very reliable, not sure on the make

    we can get Mintex pads to fit the willwoods easily, I think we have a set of wilwood pads on the shelf too, but we're in the middle of moving so we couldn't sort it until next week earliest. Sorry for the inconvenience :)

    dust seal has nothing at all to do with brake dust, it's to stop crap getting in between the pistons and the caliper body

    aux belt is about 10 minutes work and it's a cheap part. check it, see if the belt looks cracked/crazed. I'd just do it TBH

    lol, you're right to be a little cautious, but it's not that big a deal. once it's plugged in to the car it's shorted (inert) by the SRS computer. I've fitted literally hundreds, you'll be fine :)
