That is true. I have had the gripper for about 2 years, and it's been out once for a replate.
I have had the RC kit for 3 months.
I've not had any problems with the shafts, or the gripper, and no juddering....
Something isn't right here. Will it do it on the road? If so, welcome at mine on...
I have 250bhp and 220 lb ft from my supercharger setup, with a gripper diff, and it felt like the perfect balance of more power / same delivery / good traction at Anglesey last week. In the wet, and dry.
But then I would say that.... ;)
Mmmm.
I'm not saying it is the diff, but how aggressive is the gripper set up to be? And when were the plates / gripper last refurbed?
Also, did the gripper come out of porkies car? And if so, what driveshafts are you running - cup or non cup?
Both Mark and James will be better placed to...
People of the cleaning fraternity.
I rarely venture in here, as @Scrooge will vouch for, I am not the best when it comes to cleaning things. I'm more a 'drive it' kind of guy ;)
Having said that, I need to some advice please. I have put some AST's on the clio, and removed my old bilsteins. The...
Committed. That's how us southerners do it!
I went up the night before. Was unloading my car into the travelodge at 10:30pm including spare wheels and trolley jack 😂
Drove home after the trackday to Leamington so was only 3.5 hrs which wasn't too bad. Slept like a baby when...
As others have said, for the gains, TB's aren't really cutting it anymore. They do sound epic though and an NA engine may be better for hill climbs / sprints from a competitive class perspective.
Cheers man, yep - loved it! Quite technical and took me a long time experimenting with different lines etc. It was a long drive up though. Took me 5 hours in that awful 36 degree heat we had on Wednesday 😧
Ha ha! Cheers!
My own stupid fault, it had been very hot, then rained and I went out on my Direzzas. Should have swapped to my wets really. Lesson learnt 😌
Some footage from my run out in the flamemobile at Anglesey. New track, new suspension, new power and new brakes, so go easy on me
There is a bit of a moment at 14 mins 17 seconds 😂
@Scrooge @Rob @TheEvilGiraffe @Daniel
Given you all said you wanted to see some of it...
Some footage from anglesey. Had great fun and Anglesey is a great circuit, took me a while to get used to the changes to the car and the unfamiliar track, but got quicker through the day. Some serious metal was running. 95% of cars there came and left on a trailer. Despite that, I had good fun...
