Good work sheepnameface. Track day - let me know which one and i'll try to attend. Don't fancy Anglesey with Javelin on July 2nd do you? I'm all booked up.
Cheers Morgan. And yep, without spacers, I can't find a single 15" wheel that will go over the Brembos.
Mine has cup wishbones, and when I fit the roll centre kit from @NorthloopCup I'll get even more width, so will need to do as much as I can to keep the wheels from scrubbing. I may need to go...
They're straight bud, but you saw how battered they were, so with second hand tyres aswell, plenty of wheel weights were needed to get them balanced out!
Can't wait for Bedford now. Just hope the weather is ok, which I believe it isn't going to be... :(
Its large. Lol!
ET35 I think. I've had to swap the 16mm spacers off the back to 5mm spacers, and on the front I'm still running 16mm spacers but had to cut alot out of the arches etc! ha ha :)
The bit chopped out of the arches both sides...
Sadly the brake ducts won't fit around the boost pipe on the right hand side. So they'll need some modification fit. I'll run Bedford without them, see what the cooling is like. Then fit them modified if needed, or sell them on if not needed.
Final bit of work done ready for Bedford. Got my powdercoated Willys wheels back with the Direzzas fitted, then faffed about with the spacers / caliper & wheel weight clearance / arch clearance at the front.
Had to chop some of the inner arch out at the front! Lol!
Got there though;
Ha! The bid I was on got done about 15:00, and my Nan is still with us. For now. Which is good news!
Apologies, I'd have only been a miserable bag of air if I had trundled down.
Not strictly car related. Got some gates and new Oxford chippings (gravel) for the drive. Some before, during and afters on the gravel;
Much better. Cleaned the cars aswell.
I'd go light grey in a trophy. @aucky runs light grey wheels on track and I think it looks phenomenal. You could get the turinis done the same. Bit different.
Gloss black is the safe choice though ;)
The spoiler says different to me!
Both nice cars, but I suspect you will miss the 1*2. Oh well, can always come back to the better RS Hatch when you're bored. Shots fired, shots fired....I await the 197 fanboys...... :tongueout:
