Breaking cover......*AG content from page 45*

Yeah definitely mate. Your restricted size wise anyway on the laminovas, but they are very effective. Mine used to be in residence cooling my quaife straight cut box, so it only seems right that it's being utilised in my new project. Same goes for the twin fans.

Breaking cover......*AG content from page 45*

Yes mate. It's going in the coolant pipe that comes out of the engine to the rad. It's not ideal in terms of maximum cooling efficiency of the engine oil, but it'll hopefully be minimal. They should be positioned on the rad outlet ideally. I couldn't be arsed to try and package it in there and...

You wanna try pushing earls -6 super stock hose and fittings on then mate! It's even f**king worse!

Yeah I agree mate. I can rebuild the jc5 with new parts around 5 times at the price of the bacci romano gear kit.

Assuming you can get one of the gear sets off gripper your talking about 3.5k I think, possibly more. There's an Italian company that do them as well for reasonable money too. Your still talking 2.5k though. http://www.bacciromano.com/?p=prodotti&l=eng&cat1=24&cat2=51&mar=8

I got home from work at 6:45 and removed it whilst the wife was still in bed! Yeah it wants to be as well for what it's all cost!!! Lol! f**king chocolate Renault gearboxes! It's come out really well tbf - not brand new looking, but for a 12yr old part it's come up really well. Here's...

Breaking cover......*AG content from page 45*

Ok so the overnight parts finally arrived for the gearbox. I had a spare 10 minutes today so I decided to fully assemble the mainshaft. EVERY gear on this shaft is now brand new! As it currently stands: Then it was time to look at the twin fan mounts. Here's the new ally rad with my twin 10"...

    Oil cooler

Yeah they're a tad extravagant tbh. Piece of piss to install though. My oil lines are less than 1mtr in length for the pair of them as well. I have always been told -10 for oil lines mate so that's what I've opted for. Have a look at the speedflow push on hose and hose ends. Not expensive at...

Cheers! Nah mate. Cba tbh! This is just all a bit of fun for me really, so whatever power it makes I'll be happy with. If it was all out performance I would've run it on itbs from the off, but I prefer to do things a bit different.

    Engine cooling fan

Yes mate 2 wires for the fan and forget the rest mate. I've never seen anything connected to the other plug on a Clio tbh.

    Oil cooler

You want -10 oil cooler pipes mate so whatever the equivalent is in imperial. Laminova coolers are where it's at. You can't get a stone through one of them.

Mr Plums Progress.. Clio 182 Turbo!

Imo yes mate. It'll put substantially more strain on the gearbox as instead of losing the energy through 1 wheel spinning, it will spin both and put more load on the drivetrain. 1st and 2nd gear will be the likely culprit for failure. Interestingly though, Renault have re-designed these gears so...

    Clio 182 with 225 engine/box/ecu

Nice! What cams are you running then? Purely just out of curiosity as there's not much selection, or at least that's how it appears anyway. 221bhp at .4 bar is not to be sniffed at either. Steel crank and rods?

Mr Plums Progress.. Clio 182 Turbo!

You'll probably find the gearbox suffers as a result of you fit a diff mate. It'll put more strain through it.

TRACK TROPHY 381 – PROGRESS TO DATE

You'll probably find that you need to run a minimum of 400lb springs on the rear and 475-525's on the front. The gaz stuff has come on leaps and bounds now tbf, but they still ain't at the same level as asts or kw's imo. Nowhere near.
