    197 6 speed box into 172

Your better off fitting a jc5 089 if your driving a ph2 172/182 mate. That's the longer ratio box out the ph1. Otherwise your pretty much fucked.

    197 6 speed box into 172

You need to run the 197 block as well mate. It won't fit on the 172 block. Ever.

    Oooops megane content

I'd pretty much bet that they lost it coming over the bump just before entry into the left hander (schwedenkreuz) on the straight section (flugplatz). It's one of the fastest sections of the circuit with proper cars pulling 170+. In the clio I'm pulling a measly 135+, so if the Meg driver was on...

Making the Rear a bit more lively

Yeah you'll need shims to adjust the rear toe. You need to get the alignment measured first though.

leaking selector seal, gearbox leak fix

Renault Wolverhampton is the place for the items you need mate, but I can't comment on the price of them as it's not something I've bought. The seal I'm on about is the original type that requires the box stripping. Easy when you know how, just time consuming.

    Camber Or Toe?

Camber first, then tracking. You need to do the tracking immediately afterwards though ideally as you will be getting massive amounts of toe in after camber adjustment. Sounds like your pump is on its way out too I'm afraid.

Pictures of your looped rack for EPAS. What fittings have you used?

Yeah piece of piss mate. It's a bit tight for space but it's doable. M12x1, M14x1 and M16x1 from memory. The last 2 may be 1.25/1.5 but without looking I can't say 100%. I'll have a look on my spare rack on Monday night when I'm back in work.

Help needed with my 182 track car

You'll be fine on this setup mate around the ring. It's track knowledge that's more of a benefit to setup around there.

leaking selector seal, gearbox leak fix

I'll hazard a guess that they're possibly universal or superceded by a better design. Give me all the numbers off your box and I'll have a word with my Renault man. He's s**t hot tbh.

leaking selector seal, gearbox leak fix

leaking selector seal, gearbox leak fix

At the box end mate. It bolts on with a 8mm nut. I'm not on about the clamp either. Look underneath the black boot. I've got a pic if your unsure.

    Never gonna happen. :smilingimp:

leaking selector seal, gearbox leak fix

Yeah that will definitely cause the gearstick to feel sloppy mate, but it won't cause the side to side movement. It could be the bush in the arm itself.

Making the Rear a bit more lively

Give it some toe out on the rear. It'll be lively then. What's the geo on the car currently?

FT with a bit of loctite mate. That's what I've done with mine.

Breaking cover......*AG content from page 45*

Yeah I would've done mate, but @Tony Hunter did me a good price on his old Quaife so it was a no brainer for me really. Cheers, there seems to be a fair few looking forward to seeing it run. Myself included!

    Stealth Exhaust Choices

That's a good shout actually tbh. You could chop the tailpipe and get an angled one fitted if you wanted, then it would be stealth near as damn it. @MicKPM will be able to give you a good review of this system as I believe he has/had one fitted.

Gutted! Why on earth someone's done that I'll never know! What plans you got for it then mate? Yeah I've got the cup in my avatar mate. Got a bit of a thread in the Clio media section showing the engine build I'm doing/done.
