    Stealth Exhaust Choices

I think your only options are k-tec or Btb mate in stealth systems. I personally opted for the Btb and its fapping awesome imo! Not loud at all in my stripped out cup, but gives off a nice note. Mines decatted as well and it's more than acceptable on long journeys. Only downside to it is the...

    Yeah that's fair enough mate.

    JC5 casing differences

I'm wondering if you could convert your box to the taper bearings now? You've got the casings to do so, just means a bearing change basically.

That's w**k! So f**king frustrating that they change the designs of these things.

    JC5 casing differences

This is most annoying!! I've seen the circlip bearing on a 130 box, but only the input shaft. Never seen both like it. Did Martin say if you could convert the circlip held bearing over to a taper bearing setup? It just means it'll need to be shimmed up for preload.

These are going to be my track wheels mate. 16" turinis for the road and 16" superlegs for track. No plans for caliper upgrades either. Means you have to run spacers, of which I'm not a fan. I'm on it! Can't rush perfection though! Lol Yeah it's don't on the spring rates mate. I still run arch...

    172 diff circlip advise

The 8 bolt item you can buy off eBay replaces the circlip mate. You will need to drill and tap your diff to fit the plate though. In a perfect world you'd split the box so you don't have any stray bits of metal entering the box, so just be aware. If you cover a rag in grease and stuff it around...

What are yours? 15's or 16's? The 16's weigh less than my 15" turinis. Lol

    Titan ITB's

Titan do make itbs for the 197 mate. There's a bloke on 197.net that can supply them I think. Can't think of his username though. They're only a 45mm butterfly though from memory.

If it's in a funky colour it's more, but for the majority of standard colours its £170. My green for instance is classed as a 'standard' colour. Includes centre caps mate too.

EFA there. Lol! He charges £170 to remove the tyres, acid dip, repair where necessary, paint and refit & balance the tyres mate. His work is outstanding as well tbh. My 15's were done by him.

No definitely not tempted by 2118's mate! Never been a fan tbh. They've been acid dipped mate so bare aluminium atm. They'll be done in whatever process my mate does them! Lol! He does them that cheap it's pointless me even wasting my time.

    Bilstein B14 damper rates?

Basically mate, on Ast rear coilovers, or any rear coilovers, you don't need heavy springs, but it's an easy way to cheat the handling. It's all in a bid to control the roll. The rear controls the front on a fwd car, as I'm sure your aware, so it's done to reduce understeer. Otherwise your...

Nothing to update on the dairy milk progress, I couldn't be arsed today. Thought I'd show off my latest delivery and I fully expect it to divide opinion. My track wheels are 15" turinis and tbh I think the car looks better on 16's. I know it's not about looks, but as with the engine, I like to...

    Bilstein B14 damper rates?

If I'm understanding what your asking mate, it's because of the lever effect of the rear beam over the spring in the oe position. When I measured it ages ago it was something like 1.7:1, so for a 500lb rear spring the wheel would only 'see' 295lbs. Most use the 1.5:1 MR though.
