I’m fitting 421s currently. Still VVt In with the exhaust cam was this pin I’m guessing it goes in the end of the cam here Can someone confirm this is correct as neither the exhaust cam pulley or Dephaser pulley have a hole for the pin to go in too?

Same reason I went for Quaife. If the box was easy to pull out like a saxo vts id have gone gripper.

Block refreshed

Engine is apart now and being cleaned and painted ready to be put back together with some goodies. I need to order a new water pump pipe as mine is cracked. ARP bolts fitted Block wire wheeled. Heads first clean. Needs another going over.

Mine was on RS2 with GrpN timing mapped by Chris and drove spot on. RS2 makes it hard work working on anything below it don’t ? worth it tho.

How do you know it’s leaking and not using it?Do you have patches under the car when parked up?

I had a intermittent starting issue which turned out to be the power cable terminal bolted to the alternator cracking and finally breaking off. The 13mm nut on the alternator, Maybe be worth a look. Car looks great ??

The 182 drive belt tensioner setup is shite glad mines a cup set up ? Strip the aux and cambelt stuff off the 182 lump and anything else that’s bolted to it too lol. Also brought a few essentials

Yes I have 2 of them mounted to the roof of my garage. There really good for the money!! I also have some rechargeable Elwis lights which have a few different mounting options like a bonnet bar (which is again mounted to the roof) small stand, 6 feet stand and really strong magnet

Was getting worried my PMS radiator was going to get damaged being moved around my garage I decided to actually get it fitted. So out come the angle grinder ? Also fitted my PMS cable throttle pedal as it’s a 2 second job but progress is progress.

Just need a PMS exhaust manifold now ? Looks awesome bud
