You'll be drooling a long time then mate if your waiting for me to do it I'm afraid fella. I'll just be carrying on doing my custom one offs as and when the mood takes me, then when I've saved up enough cash weigh the cup in at the scrapyard and invest all my money into a 997 gt3rs!
Er, so, were you asking if you need to reset the tracking on the front end if you adjust the ride height on the rear? If that's what you were asking then the answer is no mate! Lol! From your reply I suspect this may well be the case.
Dunno tbh chip. It came up in my subscriptions in YouTube, sounded interesting from the title and I linked it up on here. I was expecting a 600hp hillclimb beast tbh that lit the tyres up and drifted the corners! Lol
I imagine it's running the gtr drivetrain - hence the wheels sticking out so...
My 1/2 snap on battery gun always gets them undone mate without fail. Other than that you need to lock the pulleys with the correct tool and attack them with a knuckle bar.
I use them as my road tyres and wets for Trackdays. Really good performing tyre tbh. I've used them on dry Trackdays as well and if your not a harsh driver they last pretty well before over heating. If you abuse them though they will over heat faster. That's for the S1 Evo's btw.
They came 2nd...
Try and get it as near as you can by eye mate.
Yeah the dci is an electric motor and column assembly mate so then all you need is the rack and eBay controller kit. If you have a search on the epas conversion thread you'll find the right part numbers for the correct rack.
This was going to be be my next question tbh mate. Yeah it definitely could've sustained damage. If it's a track car I'd consider doing the epas conversion and fit the dci rack. Removes any issues that may exist in your original rack or pump.
Yes mate. 182 has the same subframe as a 172 cup iirc as the track width is wider up front than a ph1/2 172. The issue could be a driveshaft bottoming out. Loosen your driveshaft nut and see if you've got any plunge on the shafts.
Sounds a bit like the power steering pump or rack could be knackered going off what your saying about putting more revs on it to get it to move.
Or failing that if you've replaced the subframe, did you definitely fit a 182 one?
Your options are wossner or pec pistons. After that your into custom made pistons and that will blow your budget! Other than that, steel rods and arp fasteners ie, rod bolts an stud and nut kit on the mains and head.
You could revert back to standard springs but I'd be replacing the dampers at the same time. Sounds more like fucked dampers if it's skittish tbh mate.
