I disagree there Jon_r I'm afraid. I never give a sharp stab of the brakes before or after the dip either. I have a confidence lift on the throttle and threaten/cover the brake pedal (which can be seen in my 8:31 ring lap on YouTube) then as soon as I'm down the dip, I'm immediately back hard on...
You interested in a pair of cast superlites chip? I've got a pair of lug mount 4 pots that will be for sale soon. 310x32mm rotors on ally bells as well.
Tbf mate, I'd say that the majority of the deaths that occur from the nordschliefe are bikers. I saw one being air lifted off the track on my last visit, and witnessed the death of another biker on my first ever trip over there.
Don't let the video put you off going there! That's something more of a one off tbh mate. It's the first and hopefully the last time I ever see something like that on the 'ring again. It was totally irresponsible. Also, you get idiots on uk trackdays. It's just more expensive if you bin it over...
Well having experienced spa last year for the f1 in August, I can safely say I would rather drive through the night to get there, do the trackday then drive back home rather than stay over night! Granted we camped out for the f1, but I have a decent 4 seasons sleeping bag and that couldn't even...
I'm pretty sure that rally design offer universal mounts for lug mount as well you know. Been a long time since I looked at anything on their site though tbh.
Is the wilwood kit for the Clio radial or lug mount? If it's radial just buy the universal brackets that rally design sells? Saves a load of piss balling around.

You seen the video of the Dutch guy in his evo 8/9?? He basically gets out the car and opens the bonnet on breidscheid with his back to the oncoming traffic!!!! Pee narse.
Yes very small world! My name is/was on his dry wipe board for my 8:31 lap. He asked me to email him the link to the video as well so he could have a watch! Lol! I wouldn't and will not stay anywhere else tbh.
You should've said you were staying at Edgar's! Lol! He knows me very very well! Really nice guy and always willing to help out. I get to use one of his garages when I stay there as well.
Everything about that engine is bespoke Fred. Absolutely 100%. Only original Renault stuff is the block, cylinder head and cam cover. H knows his stuff too.
I told you them modified hubs were s**t didn't I. I just can't believe that everything else around them got damaged pretty much, but yet they came out of it all unscathed. What an utterly pointless modification they were. You should've known better mangina.
Re: sonny172cup "track racer project"
When I fitted my cup racer roof vent I just drilled out as many 25mm id holes that would fit within the diameter of the roof vent. That way you can just use 25mm grommets to fill the holes when the weather is s**t/cold and hey presto. No leaks, no fuss...
Well I'm sure it won't take long for someone to dream up another bullshit story like they did with sharky's engine though Fred! Small minded pricks.
Rant over.
