SBD use a nylon valve not nylon shims mate. The original one on the xe used to stick.

Honestly mate it's quite obvious if you look at the oil pump. So does that mean i'm wrong then? Unfortunately sometimes even prolific engine builders miss even the most obvious and simplest way of doing things.

You can retain the original spring and you don't need to shim it either to up the pressure. Just need to be a bit clever about what your doing.

Yeah the original seats had airbags in them - that's one of the reasons they're ridiculously heavy! You'll need resistors for the the recaros to fool the airbag ecu into thinking they're still connected.

Have you jacked your car up and checked for any movement in the rear beam out of interest? After seeing big gash's misfortunes, it definitely sowed a seed of doubt in my mind for mine - hence checking it. I would've expected the toe in on the rear of yours to make it more stable as well tbh...

I think I paid about £120 delivered for a custom pair of rear springs.

​If they were as s**t as their site mate, I wouldn't use them!! They supplied the custom rear springs for my track cup.

The 5 spokes need to be in mint condition to pull off the 'aggressive' look though imo.

A mate of mine can do them for £180. That includes removal and refitting of the tyres (incl balancing) and acid dipping them to remove the old shite. They're then painted in pretty much whatever colour you could think to ask for!
