I had this debate, I drove a cup before buying the 172, when I got in the 172 I instantly felt happier with where I was, and the 172 pulled so much better than the cup - obviously it will be different from car to car but that made my mind up there and then, best of both worlds...

If he'd have done it all first before taking pictures you'd have no doubt called him gay for putting non cup alloys on his 172 or something.

It amazes me all the nonesense bloody posters on here with nothing better to do than **** someone off whos got the balls to do something a bit different, or god forbid modify his car.
If I was him I'd be expecting a picture of every single haters car on here for something to mock or criticise...
I'd put the renault badge back on matey, everyone knows what it is anyway!
172 wheels look great, I'd personally put the 15" versions on though - mk1s work best on 15's.
Fair enough fella, but how many people buy cars (like the 172) that don't have a visible or small exhaust and fit a big one or 2 or 4 etc...
Would those people not buy that car because it has a hidden exhaust? or would they buy it anyway and fit the exhaust to achieve the look they wanted?
Do I hear a tad of 'I'm the best so ner ner' from Trophy owners on here? I thought that was only impreza owners that did the my cars faster speech ;)
I only cry when a mint willy drives past and i'm in my 172, I'd do the same if I was in a trophy though - should never have sold my williams! :(
No good for me then, after coming from the willy its nice to be comfortable!
I think the 'classic' status of the Trophy is a no show myself, its never gonna be remembered like a williams is - might get the 'cult' car status but its not a classic - its interesting thats all.
