I will sell it on in a few weeks and put an advert up on here before putting it on eBay/Autotrader etc.
I don’t need it, I have no use for it. I just wanted to scratch an itch.
Christ...

So, a friend of mine has a habit of building cars and spending eye watering amounts of money and then sells them when finished. This one is/was no exception. The modifications have done less than 50 miles. The majority of which were covered when delivering it to me today. 😂
I don’t have a need...
Do you have your B&E?
I don’t and after extensive research, I am legal (by about 90kgs!) to drive my passat with my 900kg clio and 325kg trailer.
The guy at the towing school that helped me said my passat or an equivalent aged A4 are the only cars I can use due to maximum permissible weight.
There isn’t a market for bespoke cleaning. Well there is but not newcomers. Lots of high end cleaners out there and to the masses, it’s a waste of money.
If I was you I’d start out basic. Offer basic services for reasonable money. A wash, vac, polish all the glass and slick the tyres/black the...
I have a Brian James micro max that I use to tow my Mk1 clio. I use an old PD130 Passat to tow it. (Don’t have towing category on my licence so this is my absolute limit!)
to tow either my clio or a smart car, it’s perfect. For everything else it is utterly useless. can be bought from £1000...
Done 4 track days since June 15th and so far weather has been perfect every time.
Got two this month and I can’t see my luck holding out this far. 🤦♂️
Good evening all!
Looking for new suspension for my Mk1.
it’s a track only car so I want proper kit, budget of about a grand. Can anyone recommend something??
currently on FK’s as they were very cheap and brand new. But they’re not manly enough I don’t think. I’ve tried them on the stiffest...
Even though I have one of these myself - that I’m immensely proud of - this one looks Stunning in the pics. Clean and tidy and basically looks like it was actually made like it.
Cracking little van!
Here’s my take on expensive waxes;
If you like cleaning your car regularly (I used to clean mine every week without fail) then an expensive wax is a waste of time. You don’t need durability if you’re cleaning your car every 7 days.
If you’re not into cleaning your cars and you clean it maybe...
It’s all original paint, original panels, never been welded etc.
It’s dog rough but it’s in the Bodyshop now so should Hopefully be a nice base to start on when I get it back. 🤞
Just done a Mini with the same issue. Took nearly 2 full days.
Keep the car in the shade and nice and cool. Soak it in Tar and Glue remover. (Tardis, Autoglym etc etc) leave it for an hour, re soak it in the same again. Leave an hour, re soak.
Then, get a Toffee wheel on a drill. (Plenty on...
We took the Mac book and downloaded the stuff every time we were having a break. As for batteries, they lasted about 2 hours? But we have 4 spares on permanent charge in the van so just swapped them round all day.
I’m going to get a power lead though, it’s too much faffing around for my...
