Youve certainly got to do it at least once.
Its a great circuit for powerful cars- its fabulous.
Just little old (2001 mine) Clios with high mileage- not so good
Did Silverstone in my Mk 7 Golf R. Fab, passed everything other than an RS4 who lapped me right at the end
almost hit a BMW who spun out on a corner about 30 foot in front of me- prompted me to get my Clio, and retire the Golf from Tracktime
Took Clio round Silverstone at the TRAX show last...

I have the belts et al to do mid 2018, but also thinking of plastidipping the car.
Wanted to use a colour that's pretty rare or even unused...
Bought my 172 for £550- and love it. 83k miles.
Spent £1500 on tyres, wheels, brakes, engine bits, roll cage, stickers (To cover the paint) a few repairs and oil changes, sub frames, bucket seats new, new battery, ICV, Throttle body etc etc- the hobby continues :-)
Track car, being used to help...
my Cat has been changed a few year back, as was damaged- so not it isnt OEM anyway. But wasnt OEM on Phase 1 172's a twin barrell affair?
Would like to find out what mine is, and whether changing to a 200cspi would be a benefit. No markings on the Cat
does it say Cambelt and dephaser done in 2013 so not needed yet?
Would suggest it needs doing in 2018, thats this year, so thats a fair amount of cash.
Have a Ramair myself, and wash/oil it up once a year
Its currently sitting in the space in front of the battery behind the headlight, on an "S" bend type set up
Wondering if shortening it to just a right angle out from the throttle boby, altho that will leave it centralish of the engine bay with...
