    Fitted these washer jets

maybe somethin clogged one of the hoses, maybe some debris you had in the tank, although I suspect the pump. take of the hose that leads to the bad jet before anything else imo and see if it's clogged

    Fitted these washer jets

I'm not aware of such a guide but you'll need another reservoir for the liquid, the one from a normal 172, which has 2 pumps attached to it, then the hoses and the 2 bumper jets. not sure about the electrical stuff (wireing and stuff) but shouldn't be that difficult you mean the driver's side...

Should I go for uprated engine mounts?

I have the whole uprated lot. even for a road car it's worth doing in my opinion. You'll love it when givin it some ;)

Top mounts...what are they all about?

k-tecs are good quality it seems, I have 'em. but now I'd go for the AST ones as they're adjustable

    passenger footwell leak - gggrrrrrr

if the carpet's wet you have to check under it. I think there is some poly sponge under or smth like that which in your case could be soakin' wet.. left like this it could take ages to dry A friend has a r27 and after about a week of rain both footwells were absolutely soaking wet, the carpet...

Mark Fish Top Mounts + Gaz GHA's

If gaz coilies go on with the std mounts and the mark fish/ast mounts go with std shocks then yes, they should fit. Drilling or not won't matter in the coilover/solid mount combo the k-tec ones also need drilling (can't remember if the ast/mark fish ones need to) they are all supposed to fit any...

    MPG problems? change your lambda....

44.. WOW! I think I've never seen this kind of mpg's at 65!Am I wrong in changing the thermostat and the CTS before the pre-cat lambda? The engine seems to go up to temp when warm outside but in these cold days when cruising at above 60 it hardly reaches its normal temp (according to the dash...

    gearbox or driveshaft????

I had this on my old R19, VERY annoying, happened to me about three times. it seemed like this circlip was the wrong one fitted and it also damaged the groove it sat on. To reach it you have to drain the oil and remove the driveshaft. Permanent fix? new diff (or Gbox? I'm not sure) if the...

    wouldnt crank??

I think starter motor. I had the same problem some time ago. started from cold, then drove a little, stopped for a few mins and wouldn't start again! towed the car home and the next day it started as normal.. never had this problem since. (about a year ago) I also had battery problems. When the...

    Are winter tyres worth it?

yes the difference is huge. I tried to go up a hill having summer tires on, and at some point when it got steeper I was hopeless. the next day I fitted winter tyres and came back to the same location. I even stopped where the slope was bad and pulled of with no hint of wheel spin. surface was...

Steering pulling to the right after gearbox replacement but tracking is spot on????

Re: Steering pulling to the right after gearbox replacement but tracking is spot on?? maybe one of the driveshafts is getting some resistance while rotating. If this only happened after gearbox change I'd suspect the g-box although it's odd p.s: new gear box or rebuilt? how much did it set you...

    Best pads for standard brakes?

I cooked my OE pads once after just 4-5 miles of nailing it. it was summer though, on other occasion they held up well after 10 miles of hard uphill going, however there were about 10 degrees outside. Saying that I went for the ds2500. Only wanted something that could withstand any situation...

2,5" cat mod YES or NO

    Fitted these washer jets

My std ones were spraying well, not too high or too low, but that's not the point. these new ones will spread the liquid in a larger area, being more efficient overall. check the videos. plus you'll never have to adjust them
  28. ripp

    Fitted these washer jets

either use a flat screwdriver and gently work your way under them (on top of the bonnet) and rotate or push them from underneath with something that could reach them (something like a hammer handle) through the hole under the bonnet. mine came out easy pushing from under the bonnet
