2,5" cat mod YES or NO

Basically the narrow cat exit towards the center section (the one that needs to be cut and replaced with a 2,5" exit pipe) has a crack in it and without providing details the guy who welded it said it might not last for long so..
Is the cat mod worth the hassle? I know BTB does something like this, mark fish also did this a few times but some say that loosing some back pressure won't help
I don't wanna go the de-cat route yet so 2 options left:
keep fixing the cat as it is or
doing the 2,5" exit
what do you guys think?
cheers

I was thinking at the loss of back pressure bla bla but fcuk I'll do it I suppose
I'm still opened to suggestions though ;)

F4R and F7R are strange as far as NA goes in liking larger exhausts than you'd expect. I wouldn't hesitate to get rid of that nasty standard join and weld a straight exit on

while we're in the cat area.. the emission light came on today after I wanted to get the tailpipes re-aligned- this involved some banging with a hammer at some joints as they were stuck and I think this messed up the second lambda sensor
Am I right saying that the second lambda is indeed the one causing the dash light? If it's damaged is it gonna do harm if left as it is or is the first lambda that messes up with how the ECU is running?
I'm always confused about the lambda sensors

If you have damaged the second lambda it shouldnt cause any issues bud apart from the dash light, its only the front one that affects fueling etc,

I'd get BTB to do it if I were you, their work is awesome:

I recognise that photo ;) When did they rip that off the forum? Yeah runs great with the wider CAT exit. Joe at BTB recommends it over a Decat. Might make it a bit more boomy, but not much if you're already running a 2.5" centre section anyway.
