    Think standard is a lot bigger than 350mm I might be wrong though. I had a Sabelt Renaultsport wheel in my 172 which was 330mm and it was perfect.

    I prefer the Ph1 personally. I owned a 182 Trophy after the Ph1 and still prefer the Ph1 in every way. Biggest thing was the cable throttle I loved it, It was so much better than the fbw on the trophy.

    Nope dampers and springs are both exactly the same fitment. I say do it mate. I had 172 cup shocks front & rear along with eibach sportline springs on my ph1 172 and it handled brilliant.

    Ahh I see. As said above a Skoda spiltter will look a load better keep it on the standard wheels too they look brilliant with a slight drop in ride height like you've done.

    PH1 gearbox v Ph2 box?

    Ph1 boxes have longer gear ratios I'm not sure if it's all gears though and they drive the speed where the ph2 doesnt.
