Hi all, Once my 172 has warmed up when its idling it is making a sound which makes it sound like a dirty derv, am i right in thinking that its the dephaser pulley?? If not then what could it be? Thanks Mike

Hi all, i have recently started to have problems with my iPhone 3G. The bottom half of the screen has stopped working resulting in me not being able to unlock the keypad, text, answer a call etc. So i rang Apple to see how i would go about getting it sorted as the phone is barely 4months old...

Hi all, Yesterday on my way home the car when idle began to rev by itself, between 1 - 2k revs. And this morning it seemed like it was choking out as when i started it up it reved to 1k, then dropped to 0 and cut out. Restarted and all was fine. Thinking idle control valve?

Im after a set of shocks for my 172 that will suit my eibach sportlines as i am happy with the sportlines for handling & ride height. What do you recommend? Someone said that Bilstein are brillant with the sportlines. Recommendations please.

Hi all, i need to adjust my engine mounts as there is now a lot of vibration coming through when accelerating. The mount was loosened in order to get the bottom part of the inlet manifold off. So when i loosen the mount do i pull the engine forward then tighen up the bolts?

My 172 has started idle quite high ever since i took the throttle body & idle control valve off for cleaning. I sprayed some carb cleaner around the 2 and since the idle revs are revving to 2.5k when stopped and around the 3k mark when braking/changing gear. ANy ideas what could be wrong...

Hi guys, The Carbon Cupra Spiltter is now away and im looking for a more OEM looking front spiltter for my 172, any suggestions? Am quite likeing the 307 one as its very OEM looking and i dnt want to pay a fortune for a cup one. Michael

I think its about time there was a thread for the PH1 172's. Have always loved them, IMO they define the Renaultsport Clio to a tee. Please fill this thread full of PH1's to show you appreciation. :cool:
