Think it is somthing to do with wight saving as the cup is a striped out 172 mk 2 ie no abs xeons air con ect .
Think that you can fit one though think it has the holes for the bolts .

Dont wait and get a 182 after you get rid of your 1.2 you will kill your self i had a 1.5 mvi for my first car then a 206 gti then the mk 1 172 and it is still scary as feck . Go up bit by bit .

Read it in lots of sights and was on top gear or somthing 1 + 2 have a biger rev limiter than 3 4 & 5
I think that 1 may be 7500 i no that it is faster than a mk 2 in 1 + 2 .
Green shift light comes on at about 6500 in 3

Will not blow up as you will have a rev limiter so you can not blow it up
I think it is about 7300 rpm in first
7200 rpm in second
and 6550 in 3 4 & 5
Jot a bit cary away in second last week and bounce off the limiter in second at 7?????????????
I have used some other oils in the past the liks of Castroal RS and Carlube triple R and They were good all the same but have looked in to moble 1 and seen that it is stand fit on the likes of Porsche and Ferrari ect and after using it for the last 6 months it is just the best by far .
Got Mobil 1 15 w 50 in my car and is a full motor sport oil and is the best by far. If you push your car hard this oil is for you but it dont come cheep £ 55 for 5 litres. But like in all life you get what you pay 4 .
Just got the GREEN air filter panal from BB open it and it was not pre oiled.
Got the oil and cleener from halfords and just want to no how much oil to put on as i have herd not over oil them thanks .
Dont say that just got one from k tec and will fit later on in first part of June. It should just be like all of the other systems that they sell apart fron no tail pipe.

How hadr is it to change the breaks on a 172 mk 1 . Want some new discs ( Me cars done 50000 m ) and some new pads . Was thinking of doing it my self what you think ?
The bit when you take off the bit of black pipe that goes from the air box to the inlet manifold ? If yes what u doing going make it rounder so more air can get in ???????????
ps with all the mods you speek of you looking at 25-poss30 bhp do ecu last so you can max a mise all of the bits you...
Ive just order a full k tec system and a green hi flow panel air filter and will be most pi**********d off if its not pumping out 176 at the very bott.
Thats all wrong a full zorst system alone with no other mods will get you around 6 - 7 bhp 4 at the verrrrrrrrry bottom.
full system 6-7 bhp
hi flow air filter 1-2 bhp
ecu 10-15 bhp
de cat 6-7 bhp
total = 23-26
20 at the very bott
