Probably keep it standard for now,going to clean the headlights (as posted in the guides section) as there looking tired and do the rear arches. Would like some engine mods at some point but will wait till i know how strong the engine is as its done 91'000 dont want to kill it lol

didnt have the tunes on :( Thats why i was a bit shocked it had only been stood an hour. Have managed to start it once with battery pack at first it kept firing and cutting out took it for a quick run and everything was fine no warning lights etc, back to house stopped it tried starting it...
Its got xenons so you cant really tell cos they dont arc till motors running, you cant use alarm for a couple of mins after trying to start it but then it works fine so at least its locked, Bday tomorrow as well as New years day and im going to be playing mechanic with the car lol
Not expecting loads of replys tonight of all nights but here goes...
After cleaning my 172 ive come to start it and its just clicking lots (cellanoid??) everything has reset (stereo code etc) so was thinking battery has given up ghost but if you leave it a couple of mins alarm/locking etc...
Bit far to travel :( I have told mate to order parts Tuesday and i will fit them. Had a quick look and it looks as though its just a case of removing coil pack and leads as one unit then re-fitting them?
Anybody got a rough idea of prices?
Is there anything special about 1.2 16v ht leads on a 2001 clio? Mate has just had RAC becouse his car was running rough and the third lead is split.
The guy told him you can only get the leads from Renault though and will need to book it in etc etc
Basically im pretty sure a set of leads...
Done a quick search on my tempremental speedo and found its probably the connections into back of the clocks, Just wondering if there is a guide at removing the clocks / getting into the connectors
