ive got a set the same as Leeshez, i use mine when im working in the workshop and covered in crap so i dont muck up my seats.

do you mean to stop the seats from fading due to the sunlight??

They are so you don't the seats dirty, say if your wearing dirty clothes (working on the car for example) you don't want to get the dirt on your seats.

Mine are in all the time. My car is in the garage alot so i thought just leave them in to keep it clean.
