I reckon you should get judged by the performance of your brakes/car.Imagine if you were in a 182 with a 1.4rt next to you and you were both doin a 100mph. There is an accident ahead. Who is gonna be stopping first? All of the new cars now days will piss the stopping distances provided in the...
Got mine put on the Valver a few months back. You wont notice anythin in the low gears but it does seem to be qiucker after 3rd gear. Its is louder too:D
If we can find out how many Valvers were made or sold during 95/96 then we can get a rough idea. Most of them will be blue.
:devilish:NAPLES ARE THE BEST:devilish:
The Valver. Its a beast of a car and i love it. The Valver noise is what i love about it, its probably one of the best sounding hatches out there. If you dont want a car that rattles then you dont buy FRENCH! If you want a hot hatch that goes like sh*t off a shovel and handles like its on rails...
A Valver and a vts are on par i reckon. Both underated cars. A 172 will beat a vts no probs, but only as much as it will beat a valver which aint by much on the standing 1/4
The fiesta rst is as quick as a Valver for sure. Dunno about the handling though. I raced one a while back down a private strip;) we both seem to be flat out at 130mph.
Possibly a different gearbox. Ive heard that the phase 1 had a slightly different box but im not sure. Renault 19 gear box is the same but they dont fit cuz of different mountings i think. Im not a 100% sure though.
Mines not really gone wrong in nearly 2 years. Only these things:
New battery £50
Clutch cable £15
Accelerater cable £15
Alternater £90
I also put a clutch in the car and a cambelt kit. These were my own choice though. The clutch was a little heavy. To be honesdt though its still a...
Reliability will be fine on a well looked after example. Jus learn to get handy with a spanner cuz when they do go wrong its usually gonna cost you a £100 at a time. Parts arnt too expensive, its jus the labour garages charge to fix it. Big engine in small car = big labour costs
They hyped the 205gti up to much. Thats why everybody loves em.
The clio 16v wasnt hyped at all really, and then it faded into the background when the williams arrived. Would the williams be better then?
I reckon the Valver is probably the best of its time. There aint anythin out there that it cant give a run for its money down some twistys. The 1.6 205gti is supposed to be great and the 1.9 is not supposed to handle as well. The best handling of the 2 therfore is a little down on power to the...
Im paranoid too. I check each door and the boot is locked before i walk away then walk back to check again. lol. Im really careful where i park. Unfortunatly some b*****d keyed the Valver down the back quarter about 5 months ago. Really deep too. f**kin b******s!!!
