Are you running two differnt makes of tyre on the front? You do know it's illegal to run two different types of tyre on the same axle? One thing that working at Goodyear Dunlop taught me!
edit: by types, I mean different tread patterns!
Yeah - it won't actually do any harm to your engine - just make it look a little oily!
My nice external K&N Oil breather should be arriving today! :D
Silicon inlet tomorrow or friday!
Dunlop SP Sport 9000s are better than the avons - I'm running Goodyear Eagle F1 on the front, and SP Sports on the rear - can throw it into corners and I don't get much tail action any more. Depends if you like that kind of thing - I like the go-kart feel of loads of grip from the rear.
Avons are owned by Cooper Avon - another tyre company with racing pedigree.
Good grip, but you'll find they'll wear quickly (very soft compound). A good comprimise would be 2 of each - pirelli on front and avons on the rear - would make your car very well balanced.

Cannock I've heard very good things about. Tamworth is shoddy as hell! (I'll dig out my link I put on here about them... http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=258901 )
It was an ex-demo one from the Renault Brum - FF Black Gold 182. Only one previous owner - the garage, so doubt it'd...
Lee, I wouldn't touch Renault Birmingham with a barge pole for servicing! I got my 182 from there second hand, and the car supposidly had a full PDI. However, two weeks after picking it up my brakes failed due to excessive wear on the discs - they replaced them free of charge as "it had been...
Yay - our own little south-staffs group! everyone else in staffs is from Stone or up that way.
I'm still to see another car with a CS sticker on, so if you see a black 182 with one in the rear window, chances are it'll be me.
Hey all,
I know everyone talks about TBs & Turbo upgrades for the 182, but does anyone know of a kit/company that does superchargers? I prefer the whine of a supercharger, and I know the power gains aren't as much as a Turbo (don't want to put too much strain on the old block).
Just thought...
Yeah - technically speaking it is. I'm in the process of building a custom housing for it (on a budget!) I've discused this one to death in other threads - I know when hot I'll be down on power, but when cold, there is definatly MORE power.
Yeah - I thought it was something to do with the throttle/valve timing - that's what I had repaired under warrenty (a sensor blew!)
I suppose if it thought the fault was still present, it might have been running in a safe mode? I couldn't believe it though- the reason I bought the air-kit was...
Hi all,
I did the Clio dash diagnostics trick last night, as I thought I'd have a look and see what it was like. When I got through to the last screen, I had a "t" error on it. I know my car had a problem just after I had it and it was repaired under warrenty, and I always wondered if they had...
you'll probably find the two buttons on the side are for going forward and backwards on web pages. Mine does that. But then my scroll button goes sidewards as well (it scrolls up and down like a normal wheel but you can click it left and right to scroll sidewards in documents.) tell you what...
