I got around the same when testing full tank fills against the trip computer!
Trip said 31mpg and tank full calculation gave 33mpg.
I did a 100 mile motorway run at a constant 80mph (130km/h limit here in France), on calculation from full to full it gave 36mpg, trip was on 34mpg. Quite...
Unless it's got a couple of thousand miles on then the review is null and void, they are so tight from new it's silly, they really do change character after some miles!
Think you will regret not getting the Cup pack as it really changes the steering feel and handling aspects IMO.
Interesting...
Who would have expected to find Brown Bear in this thread talking about his dislike for the Clio 200 looks?
Does provide a welcome cure for my insomnia though
Gorms, looks excellent (I know there are now 2 of us)! I had the same dilemma that the spoilers offered at time of purchase looked none too classy and the 200 looks unfinished without one.
FYI - I had mine sprayed at the factory and delivered (perfect colour match from the VIN code), K Tec...
I'm in France, they love RS Clios, but there are very few here as economy and diesel rules - I have only seen an handful in Lyon and when I'm out and about :dapprove:
It's the K-Tec Clio 3 Spoiler, really suits the lines well and a perfect fit. It's on their website link below:

I like the concept, does this mean we have to go through yet another plethera of front end haters coming around to modern looks all over again :dapprove: ;)
Nearly my initials on the plate.... It wasn't me but I have one the same (with added K Tec spoiler to finish the bootlid).
Makes me want to go clean mine :)
1. They have a great rep but each dealership may vary.
2. Nothing extra as far as I know, I actually prefer the 5 spokes, much better in the flesh!
3. No idea, check the options list on www.renaultsport.co.uk
4. Gross and looks chav, get the smaller lip one IMO
5. I specced A/C on my Cup, but...
Bet they weren't 6 months old and a few owners would also worry me at their age
I was rather hoping to keep mine 3 years then sell it for 9-10k, but to be fair, I've only done 3k miles in 9 months :o
Some words of wisdom from Gorms, but I think the really wise money goes on a 6 month to 1 year old car where you get the benefits of both warranty and depreciation.
My Clio is probably the only new car I will ever buy, I've owned 20 previous cars without ever being caught out (though most were...
Using the scrappage scheme and hard negotiation last September I also got my Cup with Recaro, Met black and A/C for a super price, list price was £18k to this spec and I took nearly 25% off that.........
This was the best time to buy a 200, VAT was reduced and scrappage scheme was ideal...
All EK9 Type R's are imported, it was never officially brought to the UK...
You could buy a race edition but these were not for road use and were still imported from japan.
