Are you for real mate?? Blowing smoke up your own ass gets you know where fella. As already said, many on here do also work around some pretty damn fast machinery, myself Pro ET drag cars so the lousy video of an 400bhp westie doesn't exactly show or prove anything to myself or a few others...
People seem to forget that they were actually heavily based on the trophy cars which were far from road cars. True they may have never won wrc events or gt/fia championships but neither has a megane trophy v6. Does that mean if there were ever road going megane v6's they would lack...
I put my say in ealier on in this discusion that in my opinion, it is pointless to have 500+bhp in the back of a v6 clio to enjoy it fully. HOWEVER, I wouldn't tell anyone not to do it! The fact of the matter is a few of us here are indeed used to exremely quick cars. You'll find me in the...
That really is quite a funny statement IMHO. Don't get me wrong, forced induction IS the way if your not satisfied with the stock feel of the car in a straight line but a figure as random as 500??? YOU WOULD s**t YOUR PANTS IN THE WET/DAMP MR BIG b****cks!! No question! I've looked through the...
The work that has gone into that car is MASSIVE! The bloke converted it to 2 doors and added some of the trickest bits available. Thats the first video Ive seen of it.
This is very true! I remember when my vee caught fire at Rockingham and a couple of useless tossers ambled over to see if I needed a hand......"YES FCUKING PLEASE!!"
As Turkish pointed out though, the majority are very good. Infact, looking at that video, if it wasn't for the second marshall...
You'll be mad to play around with that too much. As said above, that will be worth big money if restored to an original period spec. I'm thinking of selling my mk1 Miglia once ive got it exactly how I want it but I think I should chain it too my garage floor as I know it'll be worth wedge in a...
Lol Well the Sold sign is still in the front garden but am hoping to be in there over the next few weeks. Pop in and say hi by all means. Will probably be flat out working on my Mini.
Thats a shame fella. I've got 7.5x10 MB Spilit rims on my 1960 Miglia but would love a genuine set of Magnesium Minilites to make it 100% period. Are you after genuine Minilites? Ive got a set of 5x10 GB's kicking around my garage if your desperate.
The simple fact of the matter is, if your engine doesn't need it, don't use it. Only fuels such as C14 etc etc add more power to an engine as the fuel releases more energy when burnt (they have a higher calorific value iirc?).
Great little project. Would love to have one of these or a Mini Minus to turn in to a period Racer. They are very effective with there lack of weight and better aerodynamics than the Mini.
Only opinion I would give would be to fit Mini Pickup or van/traveler rear light. They would look much...
