Are you seriouse mate?? Judging the blokes money back ground because he currently drives a 1.2? Thats pretty funny to be honest. He could be a millionaire for all you know and just waiting for the right time to buy a better model. If he's prepared to spend 2k on a plate that he'll enjoy seeing...
Lol Anyone know what the going rate is of Turbo's and Turbo 2's?? That might be over priced but I bet its not by much if its immaculate in the places you can't see. A good friend and member on Cliov6.net is build a Maxi and the price to get the right parts is massive. Fact of the matter is, if...
For some reason I much prefere the saloon M3's in that guise. I also prefere the E36 M's with 4 doors. Looks very nice and a great alternative to an RS4. As good as that car is though (and trust me, I would like one) I always see the 4 door as a pointless car next to an M5.
I might build a replica next year. I need a 4 seater as I have a little one on its way. I actually prefere the side pods on the red one above to that of original ones. They look very similar to the trophy ones.
There really isn't much to touch them in the bends. You were doing bloody well to keep up with a full miglia spec car in a 172. Like you pointed out, exit speed is on the silly side. Can't wait to get mine finished
Walked passed this and I'm pretty sure you were fidling with it at the time. Love the oldskool turbo set up. Reminds me of things I was doing to Mini's a few years ago.
I never used to like these very much but a few years back when I was a little younger, I remember seeing one of these tearing around Cranfeild street racing. The Type R's, XE powered Corsa's FRS's and other hot stuff didn't know where to hide. It devistated everything and ran on twin 48's if I...
85% probably had fake Rotiforms to be fair. There were plenty of fakes at edition this year. As said above, its all in the detail. Lads who have huge negeative camber, stickers all over there cars and rusty old steel wheel really don't take them selves seriously. They are just in it for a laugh...
I wouldn't call you a c**t fella by anymeans but what you wrote about edition is utter crap and I'm no "dubber". I've never been to such an event and met so many like minded decent people. All there for a good time, excellent show cars and good music, hence the steep single day entry fee. On the...
Yeah, was right next to my brother car so that was soon moved. I did hear about the Audi. Apparently, from what I heard, it was very uncalled for. Needless to say, I'd have kicked two buckets out of the tosser who did it. (lets face it, the security guards were a bit dim).
Probably wanted 500+bhp naturally aspirated and 100% reliable. If I had the money to do either to that car I know what I'd do and it would definatly be what he did.
Was an awsome weekend. So many funny people. Shame a few got carried away trying to impress others with hand brake turns. One of which ended in writing off some poor sods Polo innocently parked up next to us. I had the opportunity to go Trax but the car quality here is chalk and cheese.
Coolest car out there in my opinion. Big wings, big bodies, big wheels with fat track rubber, big power turbo motors, low stances and all in an iconic european supercar . . . . . . seriously, what more could you want??
Probably the best scooby I've ever seen and mainly because I hate the noise of them to start with lol. That car looks and sounds pucka though. Love it. Would love to see one with an Audi Rs2 motor in though. Would sound similar to that yet with turbo chatter.
Cool as it maybe, 400bhp would be crazy as a production run fwd. 300 would be enough to do seriouse 'ring laps. Isn't there talk of the next RS Focus having a 380hp 4 pot??..........Maybe the a 350hp lighter weight version of the R26R would be a good idea!
Lol at the engine comments. That thing would tear pretty much anything a new asshole. Agree that the weight of them is a negative but they are so tracktable from low down you barely need to change gear in a 600kg car. They are also easily tunable to s**t yourself levels of power in a mini.
Looks a great little project. I say shot blast the shell to unearth any horrors. Would be a shame to do all that hard work and find it rusting in the next year or two.
My brother see one of these out on the Northamptonshire roads this weekend. Not actually taking any notice I told him to shut up and get a grip . . . . . . . .until he showed me the pics on his phone. My god it looked miles better than any Lambo of recent. Funny thing is, it had all tape over it...
Gets even smaller Jimbo, thats even closer to me. lmao
Yeah still got the vee. I did put it on the market not so long ago but that was only because I had the opportunity of getting Tom Walkingshaw's old vee. And yes, I've gone back down the volvo route as a daily. Me and my girlfriend are...
So launching a car off from a stand still will enable it to accelerate quicker than when its on the move??? . . . . . . . . errr, no! Lmao
To be fair, if you like dual carrageways and motorways then why would you buy a 7?? 120bhp would be ample enough to have a foooking right good hoot on a...
