After much deliberation, I've decided to make the change. Thank's for the input in my previous thread.
Now where to buy them from. Fubar directed me towards Venom motorsport. For 1 set they are £134.54 delivered, two sets are around £259.50 which is just less than £130 each (Donny_Dog wants...
Travelling down to Northampton last night and had a few spots.
The first was a stickered 172 exclusive around J35 southbound. It had the green Rotas I think, could it be Redordead?
Second was a Trophy near J25 southbound.
Third was a Blue 182 Cup/Cup packed around J25 northbounnd. It...
I've had apex on 172 for just over a year now. I think they look fantastic and I genuinely think the handling is much improved. But the ride is starting to get to me and can cause a few issues on bumpy roads.
She currently looks like this (almost perfect stance IMO, just a little high at the...
Right bear with me.
I've been running my old 1.7 with 640mb RAM for a couple of years. It's never skipped a beat but it is getting a little slow. A mate had a few old bits and pieces lying about from a 2.8 with 512 DDR so he passed them my way.
Anyway, I started by removing my motherboard...
Probably won't work but I have been asked if the RS injectors I have for sale on Ebay will fit and work on a 1.4. Would there be any issues with this setup?
My N/S door has numerous dents and could do with a respray. It would probably be cheaper to swap with a mint jobbie rather than have it resprayed.
What is involved in removing from a FF.
Still on a high from my £55 182 manifold arriving, i've just bagged another bargain; a brand new cambelt kit for £55 delivered.
Past successes:
Janspeed sports cat' - £52
Aux' belt kit - £52
182 manifold, 182 cat', RS inlet manifold and fuel - £130
And now the cambelt kit £55
I know people...
Looks quite cheap in comparison to TB's, just need to source turbo etc:

Inspired by TomSx's Glanza and a 2.0 Nova on Migweb a few years ago, would it be worth chocking the bonnet at the back to raise the edges and improve the airflow.
If I combined this with a painted/wrapped manifold, would there be any real performance benefit bearing in mind I haven't tracked...
Not for sale just yet but will be surplus to requirements once my 182 manifold is fitted in the coming weeks.
It has been on the car around 10 months, absolutely no problems with it whatsoever and the car got through an MOT last week.
Has a couple of scratches due to speed bumps but nothing...
After much commotion and delay (http://cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=233187) and the inlet manifold being sent instead of the exhaust manifold, the correct manifold arrived today. And as a bonus, he doesn't want the inlet returning. Woop woop.
So £130 delivered for a 182 manifold, 182...
My 182 manifold is now officially on its way so my reserve can be let out of the bag.
This guy said he would do me the manifold for £150 (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=004&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=140124932582&rd=1&rd=1)
Drop him a line as i know quite...
It may be a bit tatty but for a track animal, what more could you ask:

Popped down to head office in Northampton for the first time today. Got into the car park to see not one, not two, not three but four RS's.
1x Silver un-cupped 182,
1x Silver 172 Cup with Superlegg's,
1x Silver colour coded phase 1 172 - W*** WAB
1x Silver phase 2 172 with twin pipes and a CS...
After receiveing my 182 manifold and cat', the manifold turned out to be the inlet rather than exhaust, fantastic.
I've emailed the seller but I think the cost of return shipping will mean it is easier to sell the parts myself.
I have:
1x182 inlet with fuel rail
1x172 inlet
1x182 cat' with...
The old girl put up a good fight so I treated her to a good scrub up outside.
She held off the DC2 over a good mile and a half and over a couple of roundabouts. Had a quick chat with the driver at a set of lights, his first comment was 'That's never a 1.2' LOL.
Pic's of the results.
I know it was something I couldn't find on here. Thankfully, Renault Leeds aren't as useless as others and found the part number for me.
In case anyone needs it in the future, you need:

I kicked off around 6pm, 'It won't be too hard' I thought. The strip down began and within 20 minutes I had the strut brace off, coils off and the plenum on the deck. I replaced the plugs while I was there then set on with the inlet. What a b*****d of a job. Bolts hidden everywhere...
When my 182 manifold arrives, I plan to wrap it or have it ceramic coated. The downside with the ceramic coating is the cost involved.
I have found this wrap on Ebay...
As above. I've looked at the pictures of the 182 manifold and the link pipe and there appears to be a hole for a Llambda in each.
Am I right in thinking that blocking the second hole and boxing up the lambda will prevent the light from illuminating?
