Right so my net is still being a complete nightmare on the Mac.
Not sure what to troubleshoot. Router seems okay, I've checked for packet loss and it's okay. It's just slow as f**k often, sometimes the page will load to say 80-90% then just stop.
I'm even starting to think it may be my...
Okay so for some reason I didn't really think about how all the s**t you open on the iphone will technically be running in the background. I've now realised you can double tap the home button and drag out all the stuff. Obviously this will improve battery life. Do you guys do this routinely...
Yeah. The emails are just so full of s**t it's easier to get a new account and just get the important stuff through to that account and ditch the crap. I find Gmail a lot easier to use now, and far better at dealing with spam.
Actually yeah I should stop being a lazy beeeetch and just do that.
Never had an iphone / email on mobile before so bit of a newb on that one. Lemme clarify. With the Gmail account you can either click on your mail and it will load the latest, or have it done auto every 15/30/whatever defined...
Thanks for the explanation. I'll probably just leave it to the Gmail one though. I can afford to wait 15 minutes for an email to come through without any issues.
Okay so this is my first iphone and I've always used hotmail. I'm switching gmail as I prefer it and I've heard it's good on the iphone. Anyway I'm going through the set up, I have enabled imap in my normal gmail settings. However when I try to set it up via the iphone it says 'The user name...
Just seen this at DW.

Really excellent work on the car. But the best but it the 'twist'. Very fun reading.
The car looks awesome, but the video doesn't really demonstrate a lot IMO. Much sooner see some normal speed machine polishing. At that speed you're not really learning anything about the process in the video, it's just a different way of displaying pics IMO.
(He's probably not trying to do...
Saw this at JamSport briefly when I dropped my car off the other week. Car looks awesome with the carbon styling bits. Gonna be a beast too from the looks of it.
Loads of factors why.
Machine polishing is the only way to get a car perfect, and it's not an easy skill. It takes a lot of time and graft and even experience.. which a lot of the customers probably don't have.
I know I'd rather just hand the cash over to the pro if it was small change to me.
One thing I did notice is my connection is: 802.11g
Perhaps I should invest in a better router that is 802.11n ?
It still shouldn't be this bladdy slow / intermittent though.
So I looked at this over the weekend. The Netgear site had their latest firmware as 2.0 something from 2007. Mine is 2.5 something so my logic told me not to mess with that.
I don't know what to do now though. The net this evening has been absolutely s**t. It's starting to wind me up. Just...
Definitely agree with this. Had a run out with my friend in his Fiesta ST and there wasn't a massively noticeable difference. I was ahead and pulled obviously.. but if it's not at a track and just on normal roads you're not gonna be able to get in front by much at all.
If you want to learn to code a good start would be taking some templates and messing around with them. Web design is one of those things that you learn more by going hands on rather than reading a book about it.
