2 1/2 hours to the end credits.
The only two bits that gave me any problems were getting the gold on the liscence tests with the gtr concept and the rally one with the mitsibushi thing. I still havent done the rally bit.
The 10 million credits came in handy on GT3 though

Thanks for the info mel, ill have a look into it.
Hey Wozza! I wasnt expecting to find many other ex GTI-R owners with clios, even burnt ones. Mine wasnt knicked though, it was thrashed to within an inch of its life, and then thrashed about 8 feet more. Doh
Not cheap like what?
I dont really know how much these things cost, but im thinking that a proper flip job would be mega bucks.
Maybe worth it if the original paint was done for, but mines in pretty good knick.
Mel, are you out there? How much did this cost & how good does it look?
These flip/chameleon paint jobs that you see about alot these days, is it possible to just lay a flip on top of an existing colour.
If you had a blue car for instance, could the flip colour (green, purple etc) just be put over the top?
Is this just crazy talk?
My Oil temp gauge doesnt work and hasnt since i bought the car. I couldnt find anything about it in the Haynes (but i would still recommend getting one). Ill get round to sorting it when i get round to changing all the dials, im just keeping an eye on the water temp for now.

Im also considering some of this stuff, where do you live? i.e. where are you thinking of getting it done? I thought mine would look good with the rubbing strips taken off all round, but thats a little way down the road for me at the moment. Let me know how you get on.
I like the idea so here are some questions: Which engine are you using? How much would it cost? Where would you get insurance for something like that? Im assuming it would end up as a rear drive two seater. Most importantly: where would the sub go?
If youve tried all sorts of pads and youre still getting fade, youve surely got to start to think its something else. In general, you can tell if youre boiling your brake fluid cos the sponginess will remain, even after the brakes cool (air in the system). But if youre merely overheating the...

3.0 V6 would be good (can you imagine the mid range pull?) but i reckon the clio has a much smaller engine bay than even a Nova, it might be worth a little more investigation though.
My girlfriend has a Clio 1.4 mk1 phase2 Champs Elyse and when it rains sometimes the passenger side seat belt gets wet. Anyone else heard of this? My mums golf sometimes had a wet floor and it was to do with a drain pipe that sticks out of the door hinge getting blocked, is there anything like...
Ive been thinking about this whole engine transplant deal, and it sounds a bit expensive for an extra 200cc. Is there any way of getting an engine bigger than 2 litres in a Mk1 Clio? Either by modifying a 2.0 lump or sourcing a bigger motor? Ive decided to make a bit of a quest of having a...

A friend of mine with a low milage mint condition Toyota Celica took his car to be serviced and soon afterwards heard funny noises coming from the engine. He stopped to take a look at the oil level, and there wasnt any. One new engine Mr. Toyota please.

I forgot to ask on saturday, does anyone with a mk1 clio get any nasty noises from the power steering? Mines been doing it since i bought it, but it doesnt seem to have caused any problems. The guy who had the car before me said that a lot of them do it and its not causing any damage, has any...
The car pulling away thing: The gap may increase to look at, but the the time gap stays the same. Because the cars are travelling faster the distance gap increases, but as they reach the next corner, the front car has to put on the brakes first and the distance gap decreases (assuming theyve got...
