Wouldnt that be a good name for a band?
Anyhoo, I drove to work without the stereo on this morning and noticed that whenever I accelerate or brake it sounds like theres about 10 litres of water swilling about under the passenger side of my car (phase 1 16v).
Has anyone else experienced this...
I have to agree with captain on the not on the road theory, but its worth trying every option when youre talking about £3000.
Good luck with it, hopefully we can get back something from these blind supermarket shoppers.
£900 for a standard 1.4 rt? Im guessing youre not a middle aged woman with full no claims and a garage then?
Did the tax disc holder make up most of the £50 raise?:)
Seriosly though, is yours post K-plate, if so how do you get it through an M.O.T?

Just a quick point, but air boxes that have a ram air effect were banned in F1 a few years back. Do you remember the change over period when all the cars had big slots cut in the rear of the bodywork?
I used to have a Pulsar, and that had no boot button. It had a lever by the seat, which by the feel of it was connected to the boot by a cable. I never had a look at the mechanics of it, but theres another option.
It would be good if you could do something that you could do alot of repetitive boring tests on so that you can put loads of test results in your write up, thats where the high scorers got their marks on my course.
The problem with that is, if you do soething boring you wont want to do it. I...
Believe it or not, i hear that the best way to set up dampers is to start with them on the softest possible setting front and rear, then bit by bit crank up the front until the wheels startskipping over bumps/your teeth start falling out, then back them off a touch. Then do the same at the rear...
I qualify as being a Fiat employee, so me and everyone who works with me gets a discount on Fiats. Youd think the car park would be full of them, but its not.
I had a theory that id get one and sell it a little while later at a profit and get a better one. Unfortunately Fiats depreciate so...

I love clios, but ive had experience with cars like that in the past.
I had a GTI-R that had problems from day one when i bought it and progressively got worse. It overheated, then it needed a new head gasket, then a new ECU and so on, eventually the crank shaft cracked and basically wrote...

I spoke to you at Donny South and you said that youd had some work done to get rid of some rust on the rear wings. You said that theres a guy in Newport who does this sort of stuff at a reasonable rate. Those small bubbles on mine are growing fast. Do you have a name, address, phone number, that...
So have we got any serious options here?
Although I would like as big an engine as possible, it is a good point that if its too heavy it will make the car a pig round corners.
The Volvo 440 turbo engine only has 120bhp, so I dont think that is a very good plan, since the 16v engine has...

Yeah, you got me. Im a big fan of ps1 and ps2, i always prefered the ps1 to the n64 even thought the n64 is a better piece of kit.
im a driving game addict and the best driving games always seem to be on the sony console.
ill admit that the x-box is a better piece of hardware but i suppose...

Betamax was better than VHS. Its just that by the time beta was out, everyone had VHS.
The PS2 is still outselling the X-Box 4 to 1. I think I can figure out wich one is the betamax.
I cant remember where i read it but i seem to remember something about ford trying to go up against subaru and mitsubishi with a 2.0 4wd focus that looked a bit like Colin McReas.
of course, the price will be WELL over 20k, so im not sure if id spend that much on a focus.
