It's the centre mount that is the issue as they're very weak.
Use a large jubilee clip shaped to fit around the central mount. Then it is simply a case of tightening the jubilee until the exhaust is sufficiently raised.
Maybe manifold hitting the subframe. Try loosening the top left engine mount and pulling the engine forward.
May also be strut tops knocking although you have said you checked those.. Search for 'Strut top washers', plenty of info' in there..

I've had both. You will end up with Sportlines as the ride on the Apex is unbearable. The rear springs were coilbound on my 172 which meant the ride/handling was vastly compromised.
Looked good though but the Sportlines are a vast improvement...
I'm guessing it's a second joint allowing removal of the cat' matrix but not the whole cat' as it's a nightmare to fit. Very good idea.
