If the head gasket is gone, the oil will look like chocolate milkshake. Hold a rag over the exhaust as the car is running. If there is a leak, you will hear it as the pressure rises. If not, the car will bog down and may even stall.

So will my Karcher Soap lance do as good a job as a Foam lance?

Yep. The plenum won't though due to the different bolt spacing on the TB.

My first question is, does it actually do anything above and beyond a blow over with the jet wash? I've got a Karcher with a soap tank and also the soap spray attachment. Is a lance vastly superior to this or will Snow Foam in this do the trick?
