It could be a fractured core on one of the plugs. They may be expanding under heat which is why the problem only arises at temperature.
It may also be a dicky plug lead if they've also been changed recently.
If the head gasket is gone, the oil will look like chocolate milkshake.
Hold a rag over the exhaust as the car is running. If there is a leak, you will hear it as the pressure rises. If not, the car will bog down and may even stall.
Have you tried both? (genuine question BTW)
Not sure I can justify £45 when i'm not really into detailing. I'm a lazy Get though so it may be worth it if it makes life easier.
My first question is, does it actually do anything above and beyond a blow over with the jet wash?

Is a lance vastly superior to this or will Snow Foam in this do the trick?
As above. I've just spend the best part of 2 days washing, claying, washing, machine polishing, EGP'ing and then waxing ready for winter.
My next job next weekend are the wheels and the plastics.
