I'll be fitting them at the weekend along with a lower gearbox mount and poly' dog-bone so I'll test then and report back.
It was listed as the Kangoo 1.9TD. Not sure if they're the same.
Pictures Guys below. They certainly look the same as the mounts on K-Tec (http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=2471&pic=1)
The top mount was £51 and the upper gearbox mount was £16.
I've just paid £51 for a Kangoo TD top mount, £16 for a gearbox mount from the same car. The Dogbone was about £37 last time I looked and I think the lower gearbox mount is about £17.
Just ordered. Should have them tomorrow evening.
I'll get some pictures up when they arrive.
If they're wrong, i'll send them back and order the full set from K-Tec.
My local motor factors can supply a Kangoo TD drivers side mount & gearbox mount (assuming this is the one under the battery tray) for £51.00 and £16.00.
Will these fit and do the prices seem OK?
Thanks.
My 172 is in need of a little TLC at the mo'.
As it's worth peanuts, it's not worth selling so i'm going to treat her to some new bits and pieces.
The plan at the mo' is K-Tec engine mounts, 182 manifold, new exhaust, coilies of some description.
Now this little lot will require some...
It sounds like you're on Apex matey.
I had these. They looked superb but the ride was shocking.
I changed to Eibach Sportlines which kept the front low but the rear raised a little. The ride is now as good as if not better than standard and the handling is much improved.
I paid around £135...
Can the resistors not be replaced?
This is a common fault on MG's/Rovers and I've repaired 3 now. The resistors cost about £2.50 and it takes around 5 minutes with a soldering iron.
I'm no expert but i'd say it's a halfway house between stock and ITB's.
It has the benefits of 4 individual trumpets, hopefully designed to provide more power/torque but fed from the original throttle body.
This should cost much less than an ITB setup, all being well.
The original setup...
All the more satisfying for doing it yourself.
I'm still a pikey narrow fonter so can't access for sale but drop me a PM as and when they're ready to go as i'm very interested in one.
