Don't do it Daz, R26 all the way. I've been driving Donny_Dog's today, it's in a different league to any Clio. The best bit about the R26 is now the price, lads on MS are being offered 13k trade in! Having driven Shiny Autos fettled 197 back to back with my car, I was disappointed speed wise.

The rears are a 5 minute job and can be done by anyone. £58 for 2x rears from my local motor factors. It may be worth doing the rears yourself and paying for the fronts doing.

If you're concerned, i'd wait the 5 months until March.

It strips back to bare paint/lacquer. It removes any tree sap, tar, flies etc. The paintwork feels like glass afterwards. It also removes any wax/polish so it is a good idea to re-seal once used. I just don't have the time this weekend.
