Allliiiii.
I was expecting 180ish but even before I ran, Paul predicted 175 with my mods.
As Phill said, my map was Pauls very first as you know. Paul was impressed with the torque figure but said there would be more to come with a tweaking session.
I still reckon she's a strong 'un. I...
But the offset is all wrong on Non-sport wheels against the RS rear bumper. Even the standard 172 Aliums look pap. Only Turinis and the like half pull it off but they still need another 5mm.
Definately. Need's a bit of black at the front, possibly the fog light blanks, Renault diamond and a splitter of some description, the Oasis badges removing and maybe a Williams spoiler.
I'd say no. Keep it clean and the keep the black plastic well blacked and it will look great.
Unless the car is lowered with a set of wheels, I find coloured coded non sport's look a little 'wanna-be'.
My 172 deafens the average passer by but it sounds fantastic to the trained ear.
The number of people who have said my car is a boy racer wagon would be impossible to count, however these are people who haven't got a clue what they're talking about and drive 1.6 Focus'.
Those who know, know...
Chaps, I need a couple of super dooper hi-res shots of the Speedline Corse decals on the Trophy Turinis.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers,
Ben
Probably a daft question.
My 172 has done 54k and is sometimes higher on one side than the other. The shocks aren't leaking but i'm guessing they'll be tired.
Could a sticky shock seize and cause one side to sit higher than the other or is there just not enough strength in them?
I do it once a week. A soak of shampoo mixed with gunk sprayed using the foaming lance. I leave to dwell for 5 minutes, a run over with the mitt then a going over with the pressure washer.
It's a mans sport.
Did both 6 months ago when I fitted braided lines, new disks and pads. The issue was there before but now you mention it, it could well be an air pocket.
'It's too big', 'The Cup looks cleaner', 'Blah, blah, blah, i'm a girl eeeeuuuuuggghhhh'.
I don't know mate. The fact it's not a Cup spoiler will do me.
It could well be, I never thought of that. The last time it happened, I pulled out of my local motor factors and practically straight onto a country road. I gave it a bit when a Pheasant ran out in front of me. Intially I had the issue, after that, no problems at all.
It could just be heat...
This seems to be a problem that afflicts every one of my cars, I've never worked it out.
When I really anchor on when the brakes are cold, emergency stop etc, the pedal goes rock solid, the brakes make a very metallic grating sound and stopping power is practically non existant. It has only...
I got through 3/4's of my car last week, I only have the o/s door panel and rear quarter to do on sunday.
I've not SRP'd, EGP'd or waxed yet but it still looks mint. Will the 7 days gap between the 2 processes cause any problems? I'm thinking not.
