Gti and Type R will hold there money unlike a clio. only got to look at how the arse has fallen out of the 172 market. Next year that will happen to 182s as well. Drove a few 172s and the only one I liked was the mk1.

I went out and test drove a 182 this morning and from all the hype banded about them, I have to say I was totally disappointed. My Valver is so much better to drive. I would like a 2 because....... Electric mirrors (essential for nice wheels) No sunroof. Phase 2. I prefer the colour of a 3. My last valver was monaco blue and it definately has a purple tinge to it. Shame they dont do a naples williams. I could just do a transplant i suppose.

If my valver doesnt sell in the next couple of weeks I may rip the 80k engine out and chuck a willy lump in there. Is quite a appealing option due to the stealth element, insurance, and you dont get frowned upon by modding it as if it was still in a williams. By modding I dont mean stupid...

I get about 260 miles to a tank. I have had 2 valvers now and neither have used a litre of oil per 1000miles. My current valver needs topping up every 3k. Engine is nice and healthy. If you want to buy a mint well looked after example see my for sale thread. You get what you pay for...
