Personal choice - I wouldnt. Wouldnt do it with a business deal, wouldnt do it buying a car. I buy lots of stuff from eBay or from internet shops for anything up to a few hundred, but £25k? Not a chance.
From personal experience, about £25k. Plenty of good deals available.
Cant imagine doing business with a broker - who the hell would do a £25k deal with people theyve never met?
Id love to, but its a bit awkward as I have to use the car for work and some of my customers might not appreciate it!
The subframes come with a harness mount, but Im not sure where the rear harness mounts could go - would probably have to be mounted on the parcel shelf if it could be made...
No problems, spends most of its life getting thrashed on track - just keeps going. Oh and ignore all the stuff above about performance - if youve never driven one (and they havent) youll never know what youre missing!
but where does it end? Insurers are interested in financial risk, not mechanical risk. For example a V6 with leather pack costs about 3k more than standard, but theres no requirement to declare it. I wonder how the BMW guys get on - their cars are just 4 wheels and an engine from the factory...
the nice people at Demon Tweeks will also sell you some wheel bolts with smaller heads so you can get your socket on!
Good luck with it anyway, itll look really good when you get it sorted :D
Just dont mention the Cup packs - its not modified - thats all they need to know. Dont need to mention ID packs on a V6, or luxury packs on a Megane. Youre just talking yourself into trouble!
Yes, my V6 is my only car, I use it every day. Its perfectly practical, just think of it as a normal Clio with no rear seats or boot, and you get the idea. Theres lots of luggage space behind the front seats and in the front.
Service intervals are the same as a 172/182, and the services cost...
I have very few teeth to rattle James, (they all fell out when I lowered my 172) so no real issues there. The Renaultsport logo is no problem incidentally - I chose the Nova look to keep the kids at the local krooz happy.
Apart from anything else Cobra is a major employer here in Telford, so...
Thanks for all the feedback (Im waking up now, it was a late one last night!). I didnt want leather - was more interested in the grippy fabric.
Yes they tilt forward (and they remember their recline position)

Driving position is transformed. The seat is lower, which means I can get closer to the steering wheel without my legs touching the wheel. I feel much more in touch with the car.
They weigh 13kgs each. Im not sure how much the standard seats weigh, but it took 2 of us to carry one into the...
lol.
BTW I meant the seats were supplied by Yozzasport, not the crap pics, which were taken by me in my garage 10 minutes ago.
Car now feels like a kart :D
Cobra Misano seats are in - couple of crap pics. Supplied by Yozzasport :D If you want to totally sort out the driving position in your V6 (and probably 182/172 as well), these are the kiddies to go for:
