I would just leave it as it is just now until you come back from the ring. You will be much more confident on a set up you are used to, rather than go out with a stiffer set up that could let go and land you in trouble if you dont know it's characteristics.

Good vid mate, the mount is good and stable and the willy aint shy either. Get the angle sorted and zoom the lens a wee bit so you dont see so much dash/st. wheel though.
I have been running 195 contis on the back, and 205 PE2's on the front of my cup for ages, and it grips like glue.
Point is, you should'nt be giving it death in the rain anyway, especially in a cup.
I would buy a 197 cup no probs, if it was a proper cup that is-
No air con, poofy xenons, soundproofing, thinner glass etc.
I'll keep my real cup for now and see what happens ;)
Had mine since new, driven hard daily, 3 and a half years fault free :) I've never even had to replace a bulb yet lol. It does feel lumpy whilst idling on really hot days though.
