I have been using them for ages and find them to be excellent. just be VERY careful that no grit gets under the blade or it puts a mega scratch right down your bonnet! I wipe the blade now after every sweep.

why not just check the dipstick? there aint a more accurate way of checking your oil level than that. ive never trusted these dashboard gizmos anyway. any car ive had with brake wear sensors have not worked so i wont be relying on the oil level sensor either!

yes i remember that feature on watchdog. highlighting it on that show would be a very good idea. the only problem is that they must get a large number of identical complaints before they take it on board, so everyone who posted on this thread should go on the watchdog website and complain...
