The obvious problem with all laser detectors is, that it only detects the laser when its active and pointed at or around your car. So, by the time the detector alerts you, youre problably already caught. Pointless IMO.

My oil/serv light comes on when I park facing up a hill, and wont go out until I park facing downwards, turn engine off and on again!! But if i check the sump level using the dipstick, the level is fine. The sensors are obviously placed at the front of the engine.

I had forzas in my saxo and they were good. Even on long journeys.
