Mine's the same, except mine also rubs at one point while tailgate opening, and hits the roof when fully opened. Paint's all scaped off along the edge:(
My old upstairs neighbour's cat used to jump from the second floor and use the roof of my soft-top vitara as a trampoline lol.
Didnt cause much damage but roof was always covered in paw prints!
No mate, you have to mount the sidemounts onto baseframes that are tailored to the clio. I am currently sweating over this at the moment. I am waiting on a set of Corbeau sliding subframes I won off ebay which hopefully can be modified to take the Sabelt sidemount buckets.

I got the lot for 60 quid off my nephew who just got rid of his clio.
I dont know how these compare to the kappa stuff, but the difference between these and the standard crap is unbelievable.
Put my new infinity components in. I didnt want to go to the hassle of removing the dash etc, so I used the tweeter pods supplied and fitted them to the doors pointing at the listener. I think they look good and sound excellent.

Unlucky mate, hope you get it sorted soon. That is the first time I have ever heard of an eibach break. I know springs are wear-and-tear items, but that MUST be a manufacturing fault. Spring steel should not be brittle. Get on to eibach UK asap mate.
