If you want wow and a bit more practicality go for the Vee. VX220 is a better trackday car, but has little purpose other than that.

Vee is my only car. Other half has a Megane cabriolet, which is marginally more practical.

182 seems to have much better build quality than the 172, so Id go for that.

Main difference - you cant buy a 205 Mi16 new, 182 comes with warranty etc. Impossible to compare a stock car with heavily modded / transplant.

172s are cheap at the moment - a lot easier than a transplant - remember as well as making it go youve got to make it corner and stop!
