Ive had my V6 for 3 months now, I use it every day. Its not as impractical as it first appears, but compared to a normal 4 seater it is pretty restrictive.
Unless the V6 is your dream car its very difficult to justify the purchase price, but its a lot cheaper to run than those turbocharged 4WD...
Round a track theres absolutely no difference, so its pretty much down to how much you want to spend. If you are not bothered about Xenons, auto-wipers etc, look for a 172 Cup (which is a stripped-out Mk2).
The plate on the Vee is legal, but weve had an illegal one on the Megane since it was new (Euro 2000 plate with 3 lions ghosted onto the background). Never had a problem.
to be fair they actually did test mine quite a bit - people from work saw it around town (I was blissfully unaware - away on holiday). Anyhow it paid off - no niggles at all.
currently at £1220, no reserve, 2 days to go!

I had my 172 for almost 3 years and loved it. I do a lot of trackdays, and it was almost perfect - cheap to run and really fast. Anyhow I needed to change it, so it was either a 182 or the V6. I chose the V6 for a variety of reasons, but mainly because I just wanted one! And you have to want one...
Is it just me? My Origin B2 worked faultlessly in my 172, but since I transferred it into the V6 the bloody laser alert keeps going off. Its so annoying Ive actually disabled the laser alerts now.
Anyone else get the same?
