Funny you should mention "new faces". My two local dealers seem to have changed their staff, the incompetant, bloody minded, arrogant pr1cks that I was having problems with have gone.
They now have people that seem to care and are helpful.
Looks like the guy who did the wheelie was originally facing backwards sitting on the front mudguard. He was doing a burn out and the rear wheel has gripped and flipped him.
"You might be lucky and get someone that actually valued the car, but 99 times out of ten theyd be wheelspinning it all the way home."
Thats a lot of times out of ten, lol.
Im with E-sure. As long as your car is standard spec. and your not planning to modify, then go for it.
My 182 is standard apart from Alpine h/u.
Ive not had a problem with E-sure, (then again I have not claimed) they have been very helpful on numerous occasions.
Thanks for the reply, that puts my mind at rest.
I cannot remember seeing it before on my car or the Arctic 182 before it.
Its been there all along, probably, just cant recall noticing before.
Should the paint finish on my struts look like this?
Is this finish due to some sort of sealer or is it bubbled paint, it is soft, I could sink my finger nail into it, and even scratch it off if I wanted.
If other 182 owners would take a look at their cars and post a reply I would be most...
Optical, M20 X 1.5 is the thread.
Lunner, I won this set on an Ebay auction for the bargain price of £13.54 plus delivery.
Omar, I tried the chain and the three leg type filter removal tools, I have the scars to prove it.
The wrench is 76mm diameter with 12 flutes. The set is supposed to...
Anyone who has a 172 or 182 will no doubt know how difficult it is to remove the oil filter.
I have bought a set of oil filter wrenches, so hopefully an oil change will be made much easier.

I really dont understand the mentality of these sorts of peiple. What do you get out of keying a car? Its just mindless.
Hope I never catch anyone doing that to mine, I know where I will be getting sent.
I think you may have to allow the dealer to put things right, you may have to give them more than one chance also.
Give them the chance to do so. If it is not perfect, then I would have thought you would have grounds to reject. You need to be very critical.
It could be a long drawn out...
Cheers Has,
Is the base of the Go 700 not exactly the same as the Classic.
The external aerial is re-radiating so it should work, or so I thought.
Thanks, Lee.
Deffo need the external aerial. Velcro it to the inside of the small window.
Fantastic bit of kit. Sold my Classic, and im waiting for the TomTom Go 700 to be delivered.

The aerial is needed, but then you can mount the ttg any where in the car you like.
I have mine velcroed to the clear window at the bottom of the screen. The wire is run, hidden, towards passenger a-post and then under the dash.
It exits through the ash tray area to the ttg.
Hold on I will...
I had the same problem with my previous 182, wheel was off to the left.
When the steering wheel is locked in a straight position, the tracking will always be out.
I just let it go, even though the dealer said they would pay to have it tracked.
(Did not trust the monkeys to get the tracking...
