Mark, its great to hear the positive feedback from you about NS, as I'm planning to book myself in there as soon as I've installed my camber bolts.
What did you ask them to do? What was done to your car in the end? Could you please PM me the cost breakdown, not being pikey, but I'd like to...
1) What is Renault's figure for toe-in/out on the 182 cup?
2) What are people's prefered toe-in/out figures and why?
3) What is the stock camber?
4) Again, what do you guys run and how is it?
Not as important, and more out of interest, do those with coilovers run their front dampers...
Don't cut them off completely! The angle grinder will allow you to take them back enough.
If it's directly below the fuse box then smack the hell out of it with a lump hammer to flatten it a bit. Might have to put some fuses back in afterwards. lol
The subframes have several pre-drilled holes, so there aren't sliders. Even on the furthest forward setting you wouldn't be able to squeeze into the back :)
Oh, and even if you could, the harnesses would castrate you ;)
....and heavier and higher. These seats are definitely a compromise of practicality. Not a difficult decision though, it went something like this:
Did I spend the previous year with a 2-seater? Yes.
Did it bother me? No!
;)
I bought seats from Loony, who originally had them in his 182.
The seats alone would set you back about £600-700, then you need the subframes + harnesses. Some guys on here sell that kind of thing, so maybe they could do it cheaper, I'm not sure :)
I owned a mk1, and have driven a mk2 (not hard!)...
From this I would say I'd go for a mk2 mainly on build quality / materials alone. The interior is a much nicer place to be.
The power is a bit higher, but so is the weight. Bit more top-end kick in the mk2, but nothing major.

Ross, I got an external microphone we can hook-up to my laptop to get decent recordings. Watch this space! But you gotta play it back on a hifi with a good sub to get the full effect!
To be honest, those clips only indicate when the exhaust goes bang - the sound is so different to that its plain silly.
To try and describe what it really sounds like, well its like a mix between a normal clio and a touring car. The idle sounds seriously aggressive.
Can I have angelworks headwork on my lawnmower please? Sometimes I feel it doesn't get around the garden nearly as quickly as Ross'. Maybe it needs a remap, it is a bit lumpy.
A couple of extra seconds getting into the car, no big deal. I spend longer trying to get the key into the ignition. lol (not sure what that says about me).
Uncomfortable? Have you sat in these? They're luxury! Can't slouch in them :)
