Still not keen on the looks, and still waiting in anticipation for the Cup version, but doubt I can be swayed back to Renault now tbh.
Let us know how you get on though.
V6 one is bigger as you would expect.
IMO the Cup one is a perfect size, V6 one looks ok on the Trophy as it has the wider arches, skirts etc, on a standard 1.6 would look wrong.
1) Specify 1 or 2 good things about FCS06
I was not stupied enough to cough up for VIP
Simple ability to talk to other members and put faces to names
2) Specify 1 or 2 bad things about FCS06
I had to park at the back, boohoo (ok ok I know I would have to)
Not really in your hands but the...
Depends what IK he puts on.
I'd leave it standard for a while though, tuning companies are gonna need time to develop kit for the new car, so you want to wait until inital develpoments are finished and there is a choice of mods available.
It would nice, despite what anyone says about the drag or downforce figures, the Cup spoiler suits the car best and therefore worth getting.
imo of course.
Good girl, lol :)
Thought you were thinking of a 172 as well Taylor?
Might not be worthing spending loads on this car to just loose it when you sell, and also that money could go towards a top notch 172, or have you decided against that for now?
Looking good the way it is, just get those few bits sorted.
The answer here is also know when to stop, I think a cup spolier and then leave it, it's looking very nice indeed, don't ruin it by going over the top :)
A nice 182 (with Cup Packs) is probably what you're after then, can get one in that budget no problem.
Plenty of equipment included, and fantastic fun.
Civic would be the only other option off that list, don't rule it out just because it revs highly, you need to rev the tits off the Clio as...
As Mike said I also did an MCSA for this reason.
I however think I did benefit from it, simply because I am the highest role in IT at my place there is no one to clarify ideas with or learn from, therefore it was great to get everything reassured and clarifyed by the experts on the course.
Putting wider tyres at the front would be illegal, so you would have to swap them around.
I kept with 195 / 45 / 16s and found they give plenty of grip.
Experience I guess, I had far less problems with my Punto than my Renault. Not sure what year your FIAT was, but mine was almost new one I got it, 2001 Mk2 so the problems probably hadn't crept in by that point :)
Welcome Lee,
Best bet is to do a search on the relevant topic you need help with, you should find lots of posts relevant to what you need.
^That's not be trying to be unhelpful, that would really be the best way to get a basis of info and then you can ask more detailed questions based on it :)
So jealous of your pit!!!!!
Buy an aftermarket system then mate, depending on what you want there are a number of options.
Should be able to fit it yourself easily enough :)
In it's day the 206 GTi 1.9 was the hot hatch to have, the game has now moved on.
3 years ago the 172 Cup was the "hard" hot hatch of it's time, then the Trophy came along and supercedded it!
It's evolution, simple as.
When they say rubber boots, do they mean tyres?
Buy the pads etc elsewhere and get them fitted somewhere cheap, any dealer will rip you off on the labour.
